Rafaël Hot & Benjamin Bringloe

Rafaël Hot and Benjamin Bringloe are two belgian industrial designers based in Brussels. They put their knowledge in common to create a line of furniture based on lightness and simplicity.

Freshly awarded and granted by federal government, they push innovation in different areas of activities such as electronic and transportation improvement.

With a global vision of industrial design, they want to explore all the limits defined by materials and tools.

Philosophy behind 'Harvard'
Steel pipe furnitures are very graphical. It was very interesting to develop design with a continuous line creating the volume. Instead of additioning volumes to create the final product. If we want to imagine models we had only to use paperclips. We will develop further a range of new product applying the same philosophy and guidelines to conserve consistency.

Philosophy behind 'Cuir Cuir'
A leather for the seat, a leather for the back ... CUIR-CUIR ! Touching leather, sitting on leather is about the sensuality of skin and when a prestigious tannery offers us leather scrabs to use, we can not resist to offer you leather on a random basis, on our school chairs frame. The ranges of leather line up as an adagio notes. All different, these chairs are the alternative against tradition.
